Nestled beside Pen y Garreg Dam, Penbont House is the sole B&B in the heart of the Elan Valley.
This tranquil spot is spectacular by sun, shower and even downpour, providing the perfect respite from which you can explore the Elan Valley and the wider Cambrian Mountains. Formerly a guest house known as the Flickering Lamp, Penbont House as we know it today was established in May of 2012.
In late spring/early summer of 2019, Penbont House was lovingly refurbished and extended to provide five comfortable en-suite rooms, named after the stunning dams of the Elan and Claerwen Valleys.
