Have you ever wanted to capture the starry night sky but don’t know where on earth to begin?

Join us at Penbont House where we’ll sample the enthusiasm of night photographer Dafydd Wyn Morgan for a very special evening celebrating the sparkling dark skies of the Cambrian Mountains during Welsh Dark Skies Week 2024.

After a delicious buffet, Dafydd will talk about how you can get started in capturing the wonders of the starry sky through night photography; it is much easier than you think!

Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to sample the spirit of the Cambrian Mountains night with Dà Mhìle Dark Skies Rum, inspired by the low light pollution in the Cambrian Mountains, Hathren Cambrian Mountains Stargazing Galaxy Collection Brownies and be part of a launch of the long-awaited and astounding Cambrian Mountains Dark Skies-inspired new art work to be exclusively unveiled on the night, by the artist himself. If that isn’t enough, you may get the opportunity to have your own dark sky portrait taken under the dark skies of the Elan Valley International Dark Sky Park.

This event is not to be missed.

Booking is essential.
