Do you have a telescope gathering dust? Have you recently bought or have been gifted one and don’t know how to use it? Come and join the Elan Valley Dark Sky Team as we show how to set up and use your new acquisition. We will give a talk on the equipment you need, drill down into the detail of how a telescope is made, then we will help you set up your telescope so it opens the wonders of the night sky to you. If the skies are clear, we’ll help you to use your telescope, with tricks and tips on how to find certain objects. Refreshments will be available. Booking is essential as places are very limited so we can provide good quality assistance. £14.00 per person. Please arrive at 7pm at Cwm Clyd Bunkhouse. An Elan Valley Trust event.
