Powys Ramblers in partnership with Dŵr Cymru and the Elan Valley Trust have recently completed the design of new walking leaflets for eight challenging trails across the Elan Valley brought together in an attractive presentation pack.

This project is inspired by the late Chris Jones, a much-missed member of the Powys Ramblers. He loved walking in this wonderful landscape and wanted others to share the experience.

After the launch of the leaflets, there will be an opportunity to join in a walk. Choose from a short walk of around two miles from the visitor centre, through Elan Village and on through woodland to Caban Coch dam or a long walk of about five miles beyond Caban Coch with more challenging terrain.

The hill-walking packs will be on display and available to buy.
