The Elan Links scheme will provide opportunities for people to experience the Elan Valley through volunteering, as well as education and training.

Friends of Elan Valley

We will increase the opportunities for people to experience and contribute to the Elan Valley as volunteers.

Investing in Elan Valley

We will provide a series of training courses offering introductory and progression opportunities to learn in woodlands and the wider landscape.

Enabling and Empowering Elan Valley

We will deliver 20 bespoke activity days each year, particularly aimed at people who would benefit from help to access the Elan Valley.

Experience the Elan Valley

We will encourage people from the Birmingham area to connect with the Elan Valley, offering packages of accommodation and other support.

Tap Into It

We will develop activities and events, as part of an outreach education programme, to engage schools and communities locally and in Birmingham to promote the Elan Valley’s water story.
